Carsten Brønden

Carsten Brønden is a senior specialist in human resource development (HRD) and project management, with over 20 years of international consulting experience.

Starting his career as a lecturer and consultant at a technical college in Denmark, Carsten soon moved on to work as a consultant. His clients came from the private and public sectors in more than 25 countries throughout the world, including bilateral donors and international organisations such as the European Commission, the World Bank, and the United Nations. Most of his work has focused on organisational development and institutional capacity building in various different sectors.

Carsten is an experienced trainer and facilitator. His assignments have included project management, workshop moderation, course development, trainer-and management training, advising and coaching, preparatory studies, research and evaluation of programmes and projects.

In short, Carsten has had a broad, international experience at all stages of the project cycle, including project identification, field-based project management, and monitoring and evaluation.
