Our Website
Once again, our website has acquired a new look. Nothing wrong with the old one, but it is always fun to create a "new look". Besides the technology and the functionality just keep improving. So we cannot resist the challenge. This website is the 8th incarnation since 2005.
Development Scorecard
Version 2 of our highly acclaimed Development Scorecard has just been released. The Development Scorecard is a dashboard-type status report on programme/project implementation. Using indicators, the Scorecard tracks overall objectives, immediate objectives, outputs, and activities. The Scorecard also measures progress in relation to inputs, assesses performance using the OECD/DAC criteria, and monitors project assumptions and risk.

Apparently, people are still reading the book, and one of them was moved to post a very kind review on Amazon.
Website Update
The website has a new look for 2009 -- cleaner, brighter, simpler. New content has been added. Navigation is easier. There is added functionality. There have been big changes "beneath the surface", too: we have switched from Mambo to Joomla. Please let us know what you think of it!
Egypt, Mali & Turkey
What do these countries have in common? Amongst other things, all three have been the subject of proposals prepared by Tim Cartwright & Associates over the last two months!
Capacity Building in Benin
Tim Cartwright & Associates have just completed a mid-term evaluation of a programme to strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries in Benin. The programme was seen as a stepping-stone in the evolution of project-based collaboration towards budgetary support.
